My kitten's startled (to put it mildly) reaction was amusing, but I don't think that was the point. She might have gotten used to it with a little time, but the new batteries died within minutes.

The battery clip broke in the first 5 seconds. Amazon won't take returns on items that have batteries. So that is messed up . It only rolls around the floor picking up every piece of dirt on the floor. It is more a broom than a cat toy. My cat just looked at it the whole time. I had to put a piece of duct tape over battery clip too. The holding piece is only about a inch . Once is breaks you need tape. Please don't waste your money .
